Astro Re-launch

For a while I have admired Astro from afar. Today I can finally say I’ve shipped something using Astro, this site.

For years my site has sat unused and that was mainly due to the old build system being clunky. While I’ve never truly been a huge fan of JavaScript, I have felt that Astro was one of the better frameworks for delivering an optimized website.

Between the speed and ease of use Astro comes out of the box ready to go. However integrating MDX, RSS or Tailwind CSS is a piece of cake.

The one thing that truly won me over is their tremendous documentation.
